Wast Water is in the remote far west of the Lake District, well away from the normal tourist routes. It’s the most dramatic of the main Lakes, with steep screes descending straight into the deep water.

The mountains around Wasdale, at the far end of the lake, are as epic as it gets in the Lake District. Yewbarrow, Lingmell, Great Gable and Scafell Pike form a great backdrop to the Northern end of the lake. Access to the lake shore is good along the North West side of the lake, with many pull-ins off the road. The other side of the lake is only for the brave.

These are high resolution photographs of Wast Water that can be printed at large sizes without any loss of detail.

Print sizes up to 108cm wide. Overall width 124cm including frame/mount
Printed on thick fIne art paper which is slightly textured, this minimises reflections.
Frames are 4cm thick, solid wood – Black Oak, Natural Oak, Walnut and Natural Maple.
Mount card is 4cm wide, 3mm thick - in White or Ivory
With glass glazing and matt glass option.

Floater Frames Info
Floater frames are 1.5cm wide with a 0.5cm gap between frame and image which creates the impression your picture is levitating.
Sizes up to 70″ (180cm) plus frame.
Prints are on matt photo paper bonded to robust Aluminium Dibond backing. With hanging rail on back.
With a choice of protective lamination or acrylic glazing.
  • The laminated print is the most cost effective as there’s no glazing. It’s UV protective, non reflective matt laminate.
  • The matt acrylic glazing is suited to brightly lit environments. It absorbs light and greatly reduces glare.

1. Print with matt protective lamination. (unframed)
2. Print under matt acrylic glass. (unframed)
3. Option 1 or 2 framed. With a choice of 4 solid wood floater frames.
